This hoodie looks very high quality. The zipper is heavy and closes easily. This is the first sweatshirt with patch pockets that I've seen. They are not as comfortable but hold up better so my daughter is happy. The best thing about this hoodie is the cutout - it has a higher neckline so if you zip it all the way in you can tuck your chin in to keep warm - a nice feature during unexpected temperature changes in the transitional seasons. . Especially handy in our current weird winter of cold mornings and crazy 60 degree days (January! in Kansas!). We just got some new Cat & Get Jack Hoodies in medium or size 8. and this L is 8/10 and smaller than all of them. We bought the large so it still fits great but I wouldn't call it large. My daughter has abused her Kid Nations clothes many times and they have all held up well and I expect the same from them. The 60/40 cotton/poly blend has a more cotton-like feel than some blends, but the polyester helps the black color last longer.
