I mainly use them to pack salad dressings in my lunch bag. Anyone who does this knows the buttery feel and distinct smell of salad dressing all over their lunch box. I've been looking for a small, truly airtight container for a long time, and here it is. It's the perfect size, but if you're planning on using it for anything other than salad dressing, you might be disappointed with how small it is. They can be washed in the dishwasher - I put the lid in the cutlery basket to keep it from falling on the floor. And since there are 4 in this pack, I only run the dishwasher every 2-3 days.
