I really like these shoes. Comfortable, easy to put on. and let me just address those two questions. My right side, below the waist, has terrible neuropathy and muscle atrophy. I often have to ask for help to put my shoes on, but NEVER with these! What a silly, simple thing, but that tiny bit of independence means the world to me. And they're really comfortable. Great purchase - 3 months old, casual wear, looks and feels great. Edited to add: Just received a purple pair. I briefly considered wearing one of each color, pink and purple, the next time I visited my youngest son. My husband can't tell.
