Buyers beware I bought 3 sets of these grinders and although they work great when new, after a while the adjustment knob freezes when screwing it on. DO NOT try to turn it with pliers, otherwise the screw axis will break. The second time this happened to me, I spilled hot water on the adjustment knob, after that everything was fine. Again, DO NOT try to apply pressure with pliers or anything else. Update - 12/31/2020 - well, it happened again, the adjusting knob on the salt mill froze to the shaft and this time the hot water operation didn't work and the shaft broke again. That means 3 sets out of 3, 1 grinder had a problem in each set. I do not recommend this product for grinding salt.
