One of the speakers does not work. The tweeter works, but the speaker (diffuser) does not. When you press on the cone it works, but when you release the pressure the cone stops working. In addition, if you press on the wire to which it is connected, the cone will begin to work. I've seen many of the same complaints. Called Kicker and they have a 1 year guarantee, they sent me an RA number but you have to pay for shipping and ship before they send a replacement. To update. I paid shipping to send the speakers back to Kicker and a few days later they sent a new pair with no problem. This pair has worked well for the past few months. hope they hold up. Update #2: The speaker worked for about 6 months and then stopped working again. Exactly the same problem as above. I even broke the voltmeter, checked for continuity, polarity, etc. to make sure it wasn't a setup error. I called Kicker again, got an RA number, paid for shipping and got a new one a week later. The 1-year warranty ends on August 21st, so hopefully there won't be any more problems (or this one works sooner than the other exchange). The other speaker I received in the original kit still works great. Strange how they hit or miss like all the other reviews. They sound great and make a lot of sound from the back of the boat.
