I have a 5 month old Rescue Egyptian Mau, my vet recommended Royal Canin canned kittens, I bought 12 packs and as soon as I opened the tin I knew they weren't fit work. First, the smell is unappealing, the color is reddish, and it appears to be heavily processed. One more note: when my kitten went to the toilet, it was runny and smelled like glass, only a little more pungent. When I found these bags I wasn't impressed when I opened them but they smelled like real food, they didn't have all the chemicals in them and my kitty ate them with their wet texture but the poo was NOT. Another note: the tray does not smell at all. This is not only a complete food for a kitten, but also very tasty! and absolutely the best choice for my new family member.
