I actually use this for my Sunbeam Kettle. I had issues with the original Sunbeam cable (it never fitted properly and was partially shorted causing the plastic to melt and warp). I considered replacing the whole kettle (6 years old) but the kettle itself has never let me down and I've been put off by the number of complaints about the auto shut off feature on newer models. This plug fits better (tighter) in the kettle and because it's longer I never have to unplug it. This is the perfect solution!
