This mat is surprisingly helpful. I was skeptical about whether or not it would work, and it doesn't work ALL the time; but using it can help me relax after a rough day. Twenty minutes on the mat can help as much as 40 minutes of meditation. I have chronic insomnia; and while it doesn't seem to help me get to sleep, if I wake up in the night, it can help me move towards a more relaxed and drowsy state and increase the chance of dozing off. I can't give it a 5-star glowing review, but I would recommend it due to the moderate price and reasonable success I have had in increasing my ability to relax when using the mat.
