Doesn't fit/work in accessories

Although it was a bargain price, the charger barely fits in the charging gantry to the point where I'm convinced it's even the wrong charger Although it is advertised as fitting my Gameboy Advance SP. But it still won't charge after being plugged in for more than a day. I know my gameboy works because it worked recently, but I lost my original charger.
