I was concerned and washed two of the three when they arrived. Loose fuzz must have been a problem with my wet wax. The problem with this is that you lose about a half inch of space on the 7 inch spacer plate because the fabric hangs toward the center. You will need all 1/16 inch to place it on the base plate. Can you see the difference? The one with the back panel is unwashed and the fabric at its end faces outward while the washed fabric hangs over the Velcro. This is going to be a problem and the only solution I can think of is to take a pair of scissors and cut them off. That's all because I washed and vacuumed to remove the lint.
