I ordered 5 gallons to make a 36ft fifth wheel. The instructions call for two layers. I needed 3 layers. I didn't wear thin coats. They were pretty fat. The rest of the process was great. Used Dawn detergent to wash large items. Then I used the first part. I didn't have a high-pressure cleaner and only had a limited amount of water. I placed the first part in a 5 gallon bucket and applied liberally to a clean surface with a car wash brush. The roof was very clean when finished. Most of the time was spent waiting for the roof to dry before applying the cold coat. Also had to wait 24 hours between coats. It was also quite warm when I did this and we couldn't turn on the air conditioning because of the condensation. Will update later when I know if this helps keep the RV cool.
