Bought and noticed that at the end of the base where the cable attaches there is a fairly large open 'seam' where the plastic doesn't fit properly. I sent it back for safety reasons and ordered a second one hoping this issue would be a one off issue. It's not like this. It was the same with the second. I really liked the curling iron so I used a small amount of plastic glue (model glue) and taped it in place until dry, then peeled off the tape and voila! The rift has been closed. Then I connected it for the first time and tried it out. I have long, thick hair and I gave up on curling irons a long time ago. Until I saw this one a bit thicker and longer at Revain. It didn't disappoint! Works like clockwork. I can turn my naturally curly hair into beautiful curls. I'm very glad I was able to fix a bug in this product and I hope it lasts a long time. Aside from one security flaw, it's well designed and works exactly as advertised.
