I bought these shorts to gift so I never wore them myself, but here are some notes and pics that will hopefully come in useful for anyone out there sorting through dozens of shorts listings that offer basically the same, mass produced, copy-paste, stuff. (Apologies, I think Revain automatically flipped some of my pics, idk why.)I got the navy blue shorts. Size S. I chose these after looking through many other listings and reviews, but was also limited by funds and shipping/time (late xmas gift) or I would have looked for something better. The shorts come in one of those thick, zip-lock bags that everything now comes in because everything now comes from/is made in China. Not a dig against the Chinese, but, you know, can't ignore that there are issues with everything being made there. Consumer-wise, the issue being that everything is basically the same cheap thing. Indeed, these shorts are basic, any-others. Quantity over quality was the goal here. However, all that said, these shorts seem to be fairly decently made for what they are: the stitching looks good; the garment looks true to size (I didn't wear it, but at least it didn't appear "Too small"); and the elastic in the waistband is thankfully covered on the inside. The cons: the fabric is thin though not super, super thin. The weave of the fabric looks tight enough, which is good, but the fabric overall is thin. (Then again, tons of other clothes sold on Revain are made thin so. where to turn. Again, the problem with mass-produced, cheaply-made but not cheap-costing products.) I would expect these shorts to last an ok amount of time with light to moderate use.The fabric is 65% cotton, 35% polyester, according to the tag. Since there is more cotton content, the fabric doesn't completely stick to your form (body) as all-polyester shorts do, but they also don't hold their form as much as higher-cotton content shorts do.The one thing that really annoyed me was the design with the fake crotch flap. Yes, even though these shorts weren't for me. Like what's the point of that? They're not boxers, they're not heavier-duty zippered shorts. what is the point of the flap? As these wear out they will probably start to look pj shorts because of the flap.Anyway, since I won't be the wearer of these shorts, I ignored the flap thing in my rating here. So, TLDR: Shorts are fine, nothing special, but if you like their look they're alright. I prefer clothes with little to no polyester, but these were the best I could find as last resort, after factoring a few things at time of purchase (availability, funds, time). Definitely better than many of the cheap rags out there, but I purchased them for 14.99 and would not pay higher than that for these.
