Bought this a few months ago but finally got to use it the other day. I have to admit that while I was excited to finally be able to use it, when I got my dog in the car I was very disappointed. The plastic clip straps are not sewn or attached, once my Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) sat down the straps unwound completely from the clips around the driver and passenger side headrests. Needless to say I got her out of the car and fastened the seat belts only for it to happen again as soon as I got her back in my car. Luckily I also used the included seat belt to keep her in the seat. For those buying this thinking they don't need a harness for their pup. NOT CORRECT! Use the seat belt to keep your furry baby in place! Getting into a car accident will NOT protect your dog in the back seat. Use a halter and attach a harness to keep you and your pup safe. Also, if you live in a hot state like me, make sure your car is nice and cold as the fabric isn't really breathable so the air conditioning doesn't really flow through it to cool your pup. The good thing is that it prevented dog hair from getting into my seats.
