Lose weight. Unless you're going to walk on it. The optical signal does not require isolation. The thicker the cable, the larger the spacer

This thin cable is MUCH easier to install and manage. With an optical signal, shielding is absolutely unnecessary. The heavier coating on optical cables is GASKET [so you can't easily break the cable], not shield. So if you don't walk on the ground, THIN is what you need.
