Jams printer dont waste your time with these labels. Pay the extra money for better ones

Little bit of a back story, I run a business on Etsy and ship about 100 orders or so a day on the norm. I had previously bought a different brand of of 4x6 labels and was very pleased with them. I have a rollo thermal printer and so I was used to just printing 2-6 or more labels continuously within a few seconds. The brand I previously had purchased and used was an item unavailable at the time and so I looked around. As a business owner you want to save when you can and bring home a little extra profit if that means 10 cents a label then in my case with as much as I print Im looking at $10.00 a day extra which may not seem much but do the math and It all adds up. This is when I came into contact with these labels which were very cheap compared for the quantity. And so I gave it a go.Let me start off by saying that I like the 250 labels separated concept vs fighting the 1000 label bricks i had bought before. Then this morning when I decided to try them out even before I placed them in the printer for the printer to size them and recognize them I touched them and felt that the paper was cheap. And when I mean paper I’m not referring to the actual label I’m referring to the paper that is laminated/wax paper where the label is stuck to. Just feeling this made me think "ohh s***” 🤦🏻‍♂️ Because if you use your printer enough you will understand that this means you’ll probably have a misfeed or jam.Needless to say as soon as I clicked to print my first label it printed it fine and as soon as it finished my light on the printer went red and blinked. on my model this means paper jam. I figured ohh it’s the first one no big deal so I fixed it and proceeded to trying to print 2 more labels and the same thing happened. This had gone on all morning long where I have had to print one label at a time because the paper will not feed correctly. After comparing it to some sheets I had of my previous purchase from the other company and the original rollo paper i figured out the issue. this paper is a few centimeters shorter than it needs to be and so because of this the printer scanner cannot feed the second piece to let the machine know "hey you have another piece right behind here” even though they are connected by a tear line.So being that I am a business owner I thought hey let me give them the benefit of the doubt and try another pack of 250 labels thinking ok maybe the one I was using was a dud and didn’t work out because of a manufacturing problem at the time that wasn’t caught before packing and shipping. well again I was wrong. The next 250 still do not work according as they should be working and the feeding problem continues. And before anyone asks if the printer is the problem it is not. Before loading the new paper this morning I did 70 labels with the previous labels from the other supplier and they worked flawlessly.I do not recommend the product at all. As a matter of fact I debated if leaving a review but after having to mess with it all morning and wasting time on it I did I also went and had to purchase labels on revain from other vendors not this brand to hopefully get them and be able to print without any issues.I also did not want anyone else to go through the hassle I’ve had to go through.

Pros
  • This shipping labels are great!!! I love that my shipping labels got here in a couple of days.
Cons
  • Not compatible with Rollo printer! I waste every other label due to it getting jammed.
