I read all the other reviews about how easily the back of the case came off at the creases due to the bad glue used. It was clearly visible that it was only glued at the ends, with a gap between those attachment points. I did buy a case (love the purple color) but solved a potential peeling problem by applying a thin strip of Loctite Super Glue Ultragel Control along/between the gap and allowing it to "cure" for a few hours before replacing the place iPad. Mini. No issues so far, and my iPad is holding up very well (even after a few slips from my knees to the floor). Incidentally, the hole for the volume buttons does not quite fit the iPad Mini 5 as in this case. was developed for the Mini 4. The volume up button was slightly depressed at its end through the edge of the hole. A quick fix was to gently file down the sufficiently rounded top end (I used a glass nail file with rounded edges) so that the edge of the button no longer presses against it and the difference is barely noticeable aesthetically.
