Material is cheap plastic (price doesn't matter) and design only fits full size men's caps, approx 6 & 3/ 4 fit and above. My hats didn't fit and I certainly wasn't planning on stretching them, so baby hats forget that. My boys have big heads and lots of hats, and of course teenage boys and ten-year-old boys are boys. I saw them in my grandmother's magazines, Dr. Saw Leonard when I was younger. I was once so upset with a stain on my son's hat that he literally almost lost it after trying to clean it with toilet paper, poor little one. For some reason I had an image of something like this in my head. Thank you, NaNa, our angel. There are so many different types and although this one is one of the cheapest (in terms of cost and value) it does the job perfectly. I don't have a dishwasher so can't confirm, but they work great in the washing machine. One came unbuttoned but whatever, the caps washed fully with no damage and the tumble dryer partially dried them on low. Didn't want them in the dryer for too long because it's plastic, but if you keep it low they're semi-dry (wet) but don't wrinkle.
