When used with high temperature glue (TC), there is no dripping and the glue flow rate is impressive. The gun has a large heat capacity, so it can still fire 3 glue sticks after turning off. 3M recommends omitting the glue stick to cool the gun after turning off the gun to prevent thermal decomposition of the glue and blocking the nozzle, but after gun trigger 3 sticks passed. I just unplug and use the "extra" three glue sticks. I use 3M 3792TC sticks and they stick to wood very well. I use it instead of traditional wood glue and it seems to work great.
