Okay let me just say the stand will last a lifetime. My tree feels very stable and secure. I attached a 550 cord at the top to make sure the kids are 100% safe. But I feel like it's over, the stand is great. I really like that you can put the stand on the tree and put it on your feet after you get up. I am very happy with the stand. This is the best stand I've ever had. Cons: The tree used up all the water in the first 10 hours, so check the water twice a day. The only thing they didn't do was weld the nuts on the ends of the adjuster bolts. When I was leveling the tree, one of them broke off and fell to the bottom of the stand. Luckily my wife's hand fit in and she took it, but I couldn't grab it. A simple solution is to use JB Weld or just weld it to the adjustment screw.
