Covers the tummy well. There were some imperfections where the fabric had a cut near the seam. Not a tear, but a sewing novice like myself can tell it was probably a rough cut of the fabric in the wrong place (center of the bust where it flows together) and didn't grab the overlocker to lock it in place sew. A quick hand stitch can fix this. I wish the shorts were bigger to cover more of my stomach but I can wear my own swim shorts if need be.
