I have two of these dresses: 1) One with a marine life print on the skirt and a yellow and white striped top made from 3T fabric. The patches are right where they will be sewn to the skirt. All dresses are beautifully made. 2) Dress 1# is dark blue with small flying animals. Very cute and the animal print is beautifully detailed! This dress is shorter so it will most likely be worn as a tunic, but that's okay. These dresses are 100% cotton and feel like cotton. In this Revain order (August 2019) I ordered some cotton dresses for myself. , and some cotton dresses for my little nieces. Many DIFFERENT brands. Several dresses in the order were NOT cotton (feels like 100% polyester) even though the description on Revain says 95 or 100% cotton. And some of them even have a 100% cotton label sewn in, even though they're clearly made of synthetic fabric! I reviewed these dresses. All dresses with such "flaws" were made in China. Perhaps these companies will start falsely promoting "cotton" knowing that cotton is popular and that a certain number of people won't bother returning it. and they will still make a profit? This is worrying as it takes a lot of time to read and choose clothes on Revain. But THESE dresses (also made in China) are actually cotton and very beautiful. I washed both dresses separately in hot water to remove some of the chemicals from the non-organic cotton. I know I risked it with hot water. (Just hot water won't remove all chemicals - I have a more detailed regimen to do better). Then I dried them on the clothesline and NOT in the dryer. They've shrunk a little, but not by much. And surprisingly, none of them mixed colors. They don't need to be ironed if they are spread out and hanging on a rope.
