Review on Enhanced Audio Recording Experience with the Olympus DS330 Digital Voice Recorder by Paul Stocks

I have read some reviews that the recorder records lectures really well, even from a distance, but I found this recorder records more of the surrounding noise than a lecture you stay longer than 1.80 to 3.00 m away from the speaker. I like the fact that you can save recordings on your computer and listen to them. It definitely saves money and space compared to traditional tape recorders. The battery life I've found can last around 2 weeks. For example 6-8 hours a week if you turn it on and off. I bought Rayovac 15 minute batteries for the recorder. Does it record about 2 hours and 30 minutes? at SP speed and about 5 hours at LP. I prefer the SP speed because the playback sound quality is better, but I need to upload files to the recorder more often. This recorder is best if you only have 2 sessions a day, each lasting around an hour, or maybe even 3 sessions if you want to record at LP speed. In general, the recorder is excellent.
