I bought this sewing kit because of the cheap price compared to the price I would pay to buy each item individually. I see myself and others in my home using all of the items included. I've always had to hem my pants because I'm short and this band seems very comfortable and easy to use. I don't have great sewing skills, but sometimes I enjoy my creative moments. The first thing I tried was a denim patch. I fixed the hole my son made in the chest of his t-shirt at school. I cut it into a J shape and glued it according to the instructions. So far it looks great and I've washed it twice already. My husband will make good use of extender collars. He doesn't have to dress formally for work, but sometimes he wears a shirt and tie. You usually realize that you need one of these things when preparing for an event. Of course, it's nice to have it on hand when you need it. When trying on the waist expander, I noticed that the zipper on the pants didn't close completely. I have to wear a long shirt to cover this area. It's okay, I still don't wear short and tight shirts. In summary, this set contains some very useful tools and is a good option to save money on rework.
