This was such a fun set for my kids. It's all packed in a fairly small box with all the parts and includes a sturdy storage pouch. The quality of the plastic and magnets is on par with similar products on the market and compatible with these kits meaning you can build bigger things if you have similar kits or want to buy these magnetic kits from other brands. The set also includes plastic parts. to add roofs, windows, doors and even a ferris wheel. The included instruction booklet shows you how easy and simple it is to create different things. I agree with the 3+ age group but you should still keep an eye on children under 4 years old. This set costs well compared to similar products and I spent hours and hours having a great time with my kids. You will receive a great gift.
