If I plan to use this table outdoors I would return it. Since it's between the back of my sofa and the wall, I decided to leave it. The legs are attached to the apron under the tabletop with two screws each and only go in one direction. One or more of the mounting points are misaligned, and when I installed the legs, the two legs on one side of the table were 1.5 inches further apart than those on the other side. Because of the discrepancy, legs were required to level the furniture so it could be used on either leg. Also, the skirt (attached to the underside of the countertop) is 1/2 inch off-center. There are almost no protrusions on one side of the table. Finally, the wood lends itself better to staining or staining with dark mahogany or walnut. The tabletop is made from 2.5" x 8-10" pieces that are joined and planed. It's a bit like someone's gender has been repurposed. If that's what you're looking for, you'll love it. This is a solid table and a good price for its size; However if you can't handle washers, levelers etc or if you want to use it for an open area you might be able to pay a little more for a better quality item.
