Quality Oyster Knife! The extra gloves need to be in leather rather then wool.

I am VERY pleased with this Quality Oyster Knife!Strong, sharp blade and beautiful case.The added wool gloves is very nice EXCEPT if you shuck oyster's over the BBQ like I do. you'll quickly burn your hands when the oyster spills its hot water when opening and/or handling. The solution is simply a nice pair of leather working gloves which easily solves this!

It was comfortable in my hand and it worked well opening the oysters
