Look - this is probably not going to stop a thief with wire cutters. However, it would likely keep pesky maids from looking through your valuables when you leave them in a hotel room. Also, it makes it difficult for "snatch and grab" thieves at the beach, park, etc.I've used this often in hotel rooms. I loop it to a permanent fixture such as a sink, heavy bed post, etc. It's lightweight, easy to transport, and doesnt take up much space. I can easily fit a laptop in there, a watch, documents, and camera. Makes me feel much better when I have to leave valuables in my hotel room.I would imagine that if you could loop this to a lifeguard stand or other fixture at a beach or park, you won't have to worry about someone snatching your stuff when you're not looking.
