Contrary to what another reviewer has said, these speakers have a very high volume, it's not at all quiet, you can really blow, but that's not the issue here. The problem is the speakers sound very dull and fuzzy but I'm leaving them because I needed speakers that I could plug into my monitor and USB into my desktop. I can't connect them to my desktop because I needed some speakers for the monitor because my Xbox was connected to the monitor and I needed multiple speakers to play sound as my monitor doesn't have built in speakers, they worked, I had Logitech -Speakers that made a loud buzz so I couldn't use them However, the Logitech monitor worked when connected to my desktop PC, so I figured the problem was that the speakers were being powered by a power cord were powered so I had to find speakers that didn't have a power cord and that only took batteries or were USB powered so it wouldn't work. make this loud buzzing noise and luckily they work and don't hum, these speakers sound like they need treble, they don't really sound like bass but they do sound fuzzy and sound very muffled so if you just need e speakers playing You sound for your xbox like me and need a monitor you can get one and connect the usb cable to your computer to get power
