Recently a set of computer speakers broke in my garage. The cord for her ran behind some closets and was neatly hidden. I wanted to get rid of the cables so I bought a transfer. Sound bar with BT. I wanted to connect my Ubuntu 12.04 computer to play sound on the soundbar. It helps. Connected to USB everything is recognized without problems. After playing around with Ubuntu to send audio to the soundbar I had no problems. Connects every time I turn on the car, no problem. I also connected the adapter to a Windows 7 laptop and it worked without any problems. Pros: 1. No need to install drivers on both Ubuntu and Windows (comes with CD just in case)2. A great and inexpensive way to get rid of cables. The cable I needed was 15 feet and about $7.3. Connected at startup 4. Ultra-low profile, won't interfere with other USB cables. Cons: none yet.
