Trouser fit is wrong

The jacket fits perfectly but the trousers are not the standard cut. They fit in the legs but are very large in the waist. My son is very skinny so a skinny fit usually works, but he needs to be at least 4 inches larger at the waist to keep them from falling off. If his waist was much bigger, they wouldn't have fit in his legs.
