I have purchased another 100% copper pitcher from a better company and it is excellent. I bought this pure copper wrought iron water pitcher for a friend and the product couldn't be any better. My friend sent it back to me disappointed because in just 2 days the copper inside turned black and changed the taste of the water. The whole purpose of buying a copper pitcher is to drink healthier, purified, pure copper water. I believe that this product must be some kind of alloy, otherwise why instantaneous corrosion. Needless to say I will be sending it back to the manufacturers via Revain. (can't drink from this)
