Ordered 2 mats, one for each rear sliding door. I have a backpack blower (read mighty) that is constantly blowing other mats away. The old "carpet" carpets looked a bit shabby after a year. They cost around $35 and the elastic binding might wrinkle. I didn't want to spend more than $50 for a mat, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I liked them so much I bought a third one for my front door (prompted by my wife who also likes them). The slots allow particles to fall through the mat instead of sitting on it like a mat, so we seem to be pulling fewer treats into our shoes. Also, by letting the particles through, they don't get stuck in the mat, which would require hitting the mat to get them out.
