DO NOT BUY. The company states that the proximity sensor waste bin is under warranty and that your satisfaction is guaranteed. But that promise isn't even worth the distance you can throw that trash can. After two months, the lid began to open halfway and just stopped. The contactless opening was the reason I bought the jar. The bin itself has holes in the bottom so any liquid that runs into it will end up on your floor. I used this compost bin with a bag in it so you can imagine the frustration and mess. The bin didn't work for me for the reasons above, so I bought a tiered bin from the same company as a replacement. However, iTouchless says I can't get a refund because the return window has expired. The company won't take the bin either because I assume it's just as useless to them as it is to me right now. Attention buyers.
