I recently bought my young son The Children's Place Boys Printed Mix and Match Basketball Shorts in bright flambe. Let's get down to the design first - these shorts are a real head turner and head turner on the pitch. The bright red hue gives your little athlete extra confidence when throwing into the ring. But style isn't everything, and thankfully, these shorts offer comfort and performance, too. The material is breathable and sweat-wicking for a more comfortable gaming experience in hot summer games. Size XS (4) fitted my child perfectly and he didn't complain of any chafing or discomfort. My only minor complaint is that the waistband is a little looser than I'd like, but that's easily remedied with a quick drawstring adjustment. Overall I give these shorts 4 out of 5 stars - they are stylish, comfortable and practical for active kids.
