I can't believe how quickly I received the cartridges. XL cartridges were supplied packed 2 per box. Great offer. The total was a lot less than I would have paid for a 1HP XL black cartridge for my 4650 printer. Went in easily (once I figured out how to remove the clip). I saw the wear on the back and confirmed that they have been refurbished. but I expected that). Two are packed in a small sturdy box with instructions. My printer reported a "used HP cartridge", I clicked "OK" and everything went through the cycle smoothly. The print was great, no smudging and the same excellent quality. I bought individual black cartridges from HP because I don't use the printer often. After reading that the XL worked better in my circumstances, I was happy to see that the new product was the XL. I'm so glad I tried the recolored one. I will buy them from now on. The rated shelf life is based on the overall quality of the product at that point in time. What a real deal!
