This is by far the most printable polycarbonate. Absolutely no warping when printing at a speed of 100mm/s at a layer temperature of 110Β°C and a print temperature of 295Β°C when applying PVA glue to glass. The print doesn't even look like exotic technical filament because it's so easy to work with. The adhesion of the layers is very good. I mostly print at 100% infill with parts typically 10" wide and 4" high with no problems with curling. There is some shrinkage on cooling in the x,y axes, but this is expected for a thermoplastic (0.6-1%). Now for strength. This stuff is strong. When printing a 1.5" x 1.5" square tube insert, I underestimated the heat shrinkage (assuming it was too much) and the insertion pressure built into the tube. In short, after trying to unscrew the part, I finally resorted to hitting the insert with a hammer. For 30 minutes I swayed religiously with a force only Thor could comprehend on this black mithril-like object inserted into the end of my tubular insert. Drenched in sweat, I yanked the clouds toward this tormented object with a mighty swing. He broke the damn hammer handle in two. My heart sank, the sun went down, and my neighbors watched from their windows as I retreated to my kitchen, defeated, sweating from my failure. Too depressed to have the courage to inspect my work but too curious to look away, I placed the item on the kitchen table and began the gruesome process of inspection. Like a strange autopsy in the light of a cell phone, I stared blankly at the impact of all my human values concentrated in the swing of a hammer. Not a single dent. Not alone. "Impossible!" I said to myself. But the proof that I had no human worth lay before me for all to see. Sitting there mocking me, the only scratch. Supposedly installed the object itself there to torment me.
