A Good Value Your Kids will Love

It arrived a day early and my 6 year old has been playing with it for hours. The packaging is a sturdy plastic container. Nicer than expected. The track is decent quality, but I marked it down because in the advertising they make it out like it is indestructible. It is not, but it's a good design. I say good but not great. My little engineer is pretty good at popping the pieces in and put it together without instructions, but the clips could have been better designed. He struggles to get them to click into place. Even when I helped I struggled a little too. Two other minor complaints but all in all this product is very very good and well worth the price. I would expect to pay $20 more for a comparable toy. The other complaints are it feels like it needs one more piece of track to smooth out the turns. The turns are where the trucks will fly off from time to time if they are too sharp. It's been a good engineering training session but also very frustrating to a 6 year old. Lastly the palm trees it attached to the track with their little clips hit the cars. Just a minor design flaw fixed with a pair of scissor. Now I have been sharply critical. The toy is pretty great and well worth the money. If you can afford 2 of them you will solve the cornering problem with the trucks. One last thing the trucks (and there are 2 of them which surprised me) are really fast, and well built plastic vehicles. When they jump the track they fly across the room. In summation, this is my sons new favorite toy.

Pros
  • The set provides a safe and non-toxic alternative to traditional plastic toys, made from eco-friendly materials
Cons
  • The glow-in-the-dark feature can be unreliable
