I practiced with foam balls but lost a few balls. I wanted to replace them with lighter colored spheres so I can find them more easily. When I first got the balls I noticed that they were very light and sounded like they were hollow on impact. I cut one open to make sure they are NOT hard like the packaging says. I decided to try a few to see how they would work. As mentioned, their flight is limited; However, I have a feeling that the flight was not true. They wanted to fly very high and with a light breeze they took off with the wind. I gave these golf balls two stars for "false" advertising. The reason I didn't give a lower rating is because they're orange, round, and about the size of a golf ball. As mentioned by someone else, they can be used as decoration. I would have sent the balls back but for the price I paid it wasn't worth the hassle. At the same time they are a good toy for my dog. If you are looking for a good ball with limited flight, try foam balls.
