I have been diagnosed with true insomnia and love this sleep mask. I have a very thin bridge of the nose; The thick cushion blocks glow better than any other mask I've bought in over 40 years. In addition, the thick padding and the edges of the masks are quilted with seam piping. No more soldered/ironed edges that can peel off after 1 wash. The straps are connected behind the head with a Velcro fastener. However, I don't wake up when I get my hair tangled in velcro. I haven't gotten any stretchier through use either. I bought 2 masks, one for the house and bedside tables. I want 3 more; 2 for loungers next to house and trailer to take a nap and one if I lose or wash one. He washes well. BUT I didn't put it in the dryer because of the foam.
