slow to respond at times, possibly due to steam
When calibrating it got boiling water at 212F but wobbled on melted sugar. It was very slow to reach 240F, although another thermometer showed 250. The steam might interfere with its operation, but I'm not sure. Overall it's functional, but not as accurate as I was hoping.
