Review on Beverage Carrier πŸ₯€ Insulated Bag for DoorDash by Prettyboy Capers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The bag is good but the design wouldn't hurt.

I supply for Doordash, Uber Eats and Grubhub. This bag came in very handy. I also ordered the plastic tray that comes with the base. Pretty good although some medium and small drinks are loose in the tray. I noticed early on that very large drinks would tip over even with a hard plastic bowl in the bag. They're just too heavy. So I use 3 empty vitamin water bottles as pads if I'm only having 1-3 drinks (most of the time). They fit snugly and prevent large drinks from getting too naughty. However, I think it would be better to have something like half a glass attached to a hard plastic tray, something that can stay there and you can pour drinks into as long as it's firmly attached (i.e. merging with the plastic drip tray), large drinks will not fall and small drinks will be held in place. I'll probably try to build something myself, but I'm hoping the innovative creator of this bag and tray can come up with something. Another design change I'd like to see is the use of a Velcro flap or strap. instead of lightning. Fumbling with zippers is just too annoying. When you're in the delivery business, time is money, and fiddling with zippers on multiple bags just costs time. It also means not using the top handle. Is it possible to find a one hand clasp that will hold it closed well enough to use the top handle? In any case, the zippers must be removed. With all of this, the bag proved to be very durable for me. As always, there are no problems with the seams, zippers. This is about 1500 deliveries as of May 2020. However, I don't understand why the BevBag logo is offset on one side. It just looks weird. Should be in the middle.

Pros
  • Takeout container
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
