I bought two of these speakers hoping to use them as a stereo pair in our living room to airplay various sources from home Macs and iDevices. Based on the description of the multiroom function in the user manual, this seems to be possible. Bad luck. I received one speaker a day before the other and everything was great with one speaker. The setup process was exactly as advertised and the speaker showed up as an AirPlay target on all of our devices. The sound won't blow you away if you're used to Hi-Fi equipment, but it's surprisingly good for a speaker of this size. The bass has a slight low end (not surprising given the 5-inch speaker) but is quite tight and punchy in the mid-bass range. The highs are a little muffled, but far less tiring than many woofers. By the time the second speaker arrived I was pretty happy. When the second speaker arrived, it connected to the network with equal ease, and the application's simple "drag to pair" action worked well. But no matter which loudspeaker was listed as a slave in the application, it stubbornly refused to reproduce sound. Check the documentation or the Audio Pro website which advises that this configuration should not work. Finally, after two hours of fiddling around, rebooting the hardware, trying new configurations, etc., I submitted a support ticket on the Audio Pro website. The response came within a few hours, stating that there is an AirPlay limitation (modern Sonos speakers use AirPlay 2 and don't have this limitation). An old AirPort Express with AirPlay as the destination connected to a single speaker input line. Then both speakers started playing. but not synchronous. The speaker with the AirPort Express attached played in real time, while the other speaker experienced a delay of about 2 seconds. At that point I gave up and started sending the Revain speakers back. I wouldn't even buy the product if somewhere in the documentation it said none of these configurations would work.
