Review on 🔒 Enhanced Interior Security Storage Vault - Smittybilt 2763 for Jeep Wrangler JK by John Beltran

Very nice - definitely fills the back of my Wrangler Unlimited with limited room on the sides. Installation is a little loose though - the included brackets attach well to the D-ring/buckle points behind the rear seat, although I did have a few washers due to the factory hardware going all the way down. The rear issue is using the pre-drilled holes at the bottom of the box - the front two (closest to the back door) don't dig into anything - literally go into the plastic - and the rear two don't snag to handle. Self-tapping screws were included. I replaced them with M6 bolts, washers and nylon nuts that tightened well. I'm thinking about drilling another hole in the middle, closer to the back but still above the sheet metal, and adding another screw. However, it feels pretty solid and will PITA crack, which is my main reason for buying it (and it will last quite a while). I suppose the flushing rings above will come in handy - they're quite heavy. I would probably give it a 3.5 if I could choose half a star - it will do the job but not perfectly.
