Got this for my 20 month old boy. This is normal and not too girly, more appropriate for a girl. It's cute and the embroidered edges on some designs feel nice and secure. You can feel the pounding in it and it seems well made. It's not particularly soft, but it's not hard either. The two fitted sheets match the comforter and look very cute. but on the other hand probably more suitable for a girl. I love that this set comes with two elasticated sheets as that is the one that needs changing the most when it comes to children. I am satisfied with this product and will look for other models.
