This is a pretty dress. I mistakenly sized up thinking that since this material does not stretch, I would need some breathing room. It is generously cut, and the style and design allow for plenty of breathing room. The only reason I can think of for sizing up is if you are wanting this for a maternity dress. Which this would work for that. It would also be a really nice dress for nursing. Since I had sized it up, this was a bit big for me, but I can come up with some work arounds to make this look the way I want. Once I replaced the belt with a brighter one, and a bit thicker, it pulled in some of the extra fabric volume I had. I also liked the dress better with a taller heel and a pointed toe instead of a round toe. I also liked a pop of color with the shoe instead of going uniform with doing all navy. This is a pale or washed-out navy. When comparing a couple of different navy shoes that I have, you could tell that this navy was a faded color. It was not as deep and rich as it could be. So, when paired with another color it was not so obvious that the navy was not as deep as it could be. I also liked it with my brown suede over the knee boots. The richer brown also complemented the blue in the dress. And the material of the dress flowed nicely over the boot. I will fiddle around some more to come up with something that totally suits me. It is really comfortable to wear and yes, order your size you do not need to size up. And you busty ladies rejoice because there is plenty of room for your twins.
