I tried several shakers before finding Piña and now I intend to replace all my shakers with Piña. Their caps are tig welded with a nice tight bead, the steel is THICK and they seal amazingly well and come off easily too. Other reviewers who state that they can't be separated are slamming them down too much. Just lay them together and give them a light touch before shaking them and they never opened prematurely, but still open when needed. DON'T MIX THEM TOGETHER If you need to mix shakers together, they're not good shakers. I just can't stress enough how awesome they are, the next set or two are polished. I also have a Bell Jigger and I LOVE it. It's also tungsten welded with a very tight bead (does not appear to be a weld/melt). I will also buy some Japanese style "thin" jiggers that seem solid.
