This charger has been the best non-OEM replacement for charging my Gear Sport. My OEM charger's micro usb port broke and I panicked. My previous experience with non-OEM chargers were horrible. They overheated the watch, kept the red "Please use original charger" error on the watch, etc. This charger doesn't do those things.all the time. I do have the occasional red message, but removing the watch and re-placing it normally fixes it and allows it to charge normally. I also like how the plug is built in to the charger, reducing the chance that the port gets messed up again.
