It pays for itself in a firmware.
This card reader has allowed me to update the firmware on my Nikon D810 and Nikon Z6 cameras. There is no need to send my cameras to an Authorized Nikon Service Center to have this done. I also prefer to take the cards out of my cameras and use this card reader to download photos to my computer. It was a great purchase at a very reasonable price. Do yourself a favor and buy one.
