I decided on one of these to see if it was a match for the longer cable or an improvement I needed to use temporarily for a higher class CD player , like most manufacturers. Either omit cables or include low-level cables for connection to the built-in amplifier or similar device. Of course I was talking about a cable for the same price with similar characteristics: gold-plated ends, good grip on connectors, very thick cables, insulated and shielded (but not in such a braid). And the price of the cable I'm using is $40 (usually $80 with volume discounts). It's primarily used for recording studios and when I bought a few for the studio I bought a few extras for the home to get a bulk discount. Now about those cables. Are they better than the more expensive RCA cables I've used? It depends. I like that this cable is shorter (as I love the clean aesthetic) and my spare RCA cables were 2 meters long. I also like my old cable connectors as they have a better grip around the whole connector and the whole connector is 24k gold plated. No matter how old the cables are, they still look brand new. I love how sturdy these cables are. Once you've got the shape you want your gear in, it stays in place. I'm not a fan of the plug because it's shiny and has minimal support. However, it is firmly connected to the mechanics, but can be easily removed if necessary. The general build quality is very good. It was definitely well thought out, designed and built. Now the sound of these cables is simply outstanding. It sounds very similar compared to my old high quality cable. I haven't lost the detail I'm used to on the CD player or any other source I'm connected to. I still heard tight bass, crisp highs and the mids were the same as before the cables were replaced. The soundstage has not changed and remains as wide as it was. Aside from the fact that the cable connections are less stubborn, I have nothing bad to say about these cables. It didn't affect my ability to switch cables or degrade the sound. This is an amazing RCA cable that costs under $30 for a 1 meter cable. I also like the fact that the left and right channels can be quite far apart. If you need to replace the cables that came with your turntables (don't forget to order a separate ground wire if your turntable doesn't have a built-in preamp). ), CD player or other devices, this is the best cable for the price. I've tried enough high quality cables in the recording/mastering studios I've worked in to ensure they have the same sound quality as the extremely expensive RCA cables. Hope that helps.
